About Precisometer
We design and build custom optical systems, embedded software, and PCB electronics for precision measurement and sensing. Our work spans from our flagship RheoScope to specialized circuit boards and custom solutions for industry partners.
Our Mission
We solve measurement problems that off-the-shelf solutions can't address. Whether you need a specialized optical system, low-noise electronics, or integrated firmware, we design and build it for you.
Our RheoScope is our proof point—it demonstrates our ability to integrate optics, software, and electronics into a complete system. This same expertise applies to custom projects across diverse industries and applications.
“We don't just sell products. We solve measurement challenges by building the right technology for each unique problem.”
From optical systems to embedded software to custom PCBs, we engineer complete solutions for complex challenges.
Every component matters. We obsess over accuracy, noise performance, and repeatability in everything we build.
We work closely with our clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions that actually work.
Our Story
Precisometer started with a core insight: most measurement problems require custom solutions. Optical tweezers, signal conditioning, motion control, data analysis—these pieces need to work together flawlessly. That's why we build complete systems rather than just selling components.
Our founding team brings together expertise in optical engineering, embedded systems, electronics design, and scientific instrumentation. We've spent years working at the intersection of these disciplines, learning that the magic happens when hardware and software are designed together from the ground up.
RheoScope is our flagship product—a complete platform for optical tweezers microrheology. But it's also evidence of what we can do: integrate complex optics, precision electronics (including custom PCBs), and sophisticated software into an instrument that just works. We've partnered with other manufacturers to access best-in-class components (lasers, cameras, motion control). And we've designed custom PCBs—piezo controllers, high-resolution ADC boards, low-noise power supplies, and optical feedback amplifiers—that form the nervous system of precision systems.
Today, we take on custom projects beyond RheoScope. Companies come to us when they need optics designed, electronics engineered, or complete systems integrated. We work closely with each client to understand their problem and build the right solution.
